As of July 31, 14 criminal cases initiated on receiving, giving illegal payment by the employees of territorial subdivisions of social service are investigated in the proceeding of regional investigative departments of the RA Investigative Committee.
In the result of materials prepared on the base of the reports received from citizens data were obtained on demanding and receiving money from beneficiaries by several employees of territorial agencies for social assistance with the purpose of formulating benefits.
Criminal cases were initiated on receiving illegal payment by public officer and giving bribe to public officer according to the Articles 311.1 and 312.1 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in the proceeding of RA IC regional investigative departments.
8 of the mentioned 14 criminal cases are investigated in Kotayk Regional Investigative Department, 2 – in Gegharkunik, 1 – in Shirak, 1 –in Tavush, 1 – in Ararat and 1 – in Lori Regional Investigative Departments.
Necessary investigatory actions are conducted within each criminal case to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of all circumstances. On the base of the obtained evidence appropriate procedural decisions will be made and additional information about it will be provided.
